For the woman who wants to come home to
the plants, her body and the earth
✦
Plant People is a 5 day women's herbalism and earth connection retreat.
Taking place over the Fall Equinox, this immersive gathering focuses on communion with earth, self, plants and other.
We gather to honor the ancestral connection between women and plants through ceremony, medicine making, wildcrafting, song, embodied experiencing and sisterhood.
Imagine sharing songs with your sisters, harvesting and making medicine with your hands, learning herbalism skills and earth-based ritual practices.

MEET THE LAND
Ten acres of oak savannah in the
mountains near Ashland Oregon
Deep Hollow Sanctuary is a private refuge in the hills of Southern Oregon. A beautiful stretch of oak savannah woodland that has been held as sanctuary space for people returning to right relationship with the earth. The lands of Southern Oregon were originally stewarded by the Takelma, Shasta, Latgawa and Athabaskan peoples.
The plants we'll be working with grow abundantly in this bioregion and throughout the world. The relationship you build with them here travels with you wherever you go.
The land is 20 minutes from the town of Ashland, Oregon, and nearby to the Siskiyou-Cascadian mountain range, rich in biodiversity and wildlife.
YOUR FACILITATORS
Two plant women, One shared vision
Plant People was born from the friendship and shared devotion of Amma and Antonia. Their gifts are distinct and complementary — together they hold a container that is both grounded and practical, yet deeply reverent and ceremonial. Their offerings are a prayer to facilitate deeper connection to the earth and the plants.

Amma Rosavalon
clinical herbalist, herbal educator, ceremonialist
Amma formally trained in bioregional herbalism, Ayurveda, ethical wildcrafting and clinical herbalism through the Hawthorn Institute. She has devoted herself to the path of herbal medicine ever since through teaching and facilitating.
Amma will be leading plant walks, herbal workshops, ceremonies and medicine making.
Antonia Songbird
folk herbalist, womb worker, song carrier, ceremonialist
Antonia is devoted to awakening the heart of humanity and restoring harmony with the earth through embodiment practices. She has trained in various lineages that support the feminine, and offers ceremonies, women's circles and womb healing work.
Antonia will be facilitating song circles, ceremonies, equinox rituals, and oracular practices.

WHAT WOMEN ARE SAYING
Words of transformation and experience
How can I begin to summarize a time I keep describing to my loved ones as a peak experience and a major gift from the universe? I expected to learn about plants. What I received was a deep experience not only with plants but in relationship to others and myself.
