Imagine yourself Embodied.
Connected to your senses, attuned to the wisdom of your heart, pleasurably inhabiting your body with a deeply felt sense of Belonging.
Imagine yourself walking through Life listening to the wisdom of your body, receiving the guidance of the plants, fully integrated into your sense of purpose on Earth.
Embodied Herbalism is a Gateway into that Belonging.
Featuring a mix of practical and scientifically informed herbalism education, herbal folklore, mystical practices and experiential plant connection, this course offers a culmination of education alongside embodied experience. You will learn tangible herbal skills to support your physical and emotional wellbeing, deepen your connection with your heart and inner wisdom,
and rekindle belonging within your self.
Inside Embodied Herbalism, you will learn...
✨ Plant Spirit Connection: How to create lasting connection with plants. You will get to know 4 plant allies through direct connection, alongside education, so they become true allies, not just concepts. Through daily tea meditation, ritual and practice, you’ll get to know plants in a way that goes beyond memorization, and into deeply embodied relationship.
✨ Embodied Practice: How to meet plants through your body. You’ll learn how to meet the plants through embodied experience, track and receive their wisdom and build skills of direct connection with the plants.
✨ Inner Knowing: How to hear and trust your body's wisdom. You will learn how to attune to your body's wisdom — learning how to listen to the guidance of your heart, your gut, your boundaries and your inner knowing.
✨ Integrative Herbalism Education: Understand how your physical and emotional worlds intertwine. Explore how your gut relates to boundaries, your heart to receptivity, your nervous system to emotions, and your body’s connection to your capacity for pleasure and presence. You will learn how to understand your body deeper, through education and attunement.
This is not just a course to learn about plants and the body, but an invitation to experience them:
in your hands, your heart, your body, and your life.

What past Embodied Herbalism
participants are saying:
Embodied Herbalism truly set the foundation for how I still connect with and learn from the plants today.
Amma provided a self-made tincture and tea for each week, which really helped me experience the spirit and essence of every herb in a deeply personal way.
The course also provided a great group of like-minded people to learn with and compare our experiences!

Herbalist & Musician
What past Embodied Herbalism
participants are saying:
Embodied Herbalism was a deep dive into the plant realm.
As a folk herbalist and student to the plants for 5 years, I was still able to get so much out of this container.
The space is held beautifully. Amma offers a variety of practices that invite you into being with the plants. She's got something for everyone.

Womb Healer

Hi, I'm Amma!
herbalist, plant nerd and earth lover.
My herbal studies began in an intensive clinical herbalism program and as an academic oriented person, my plant studies followed that direction for a good many years. I love to get nerdy and scientific with it (and don't worry, we still will!)
and yet...
As my personal journey with plant medicines evolved, I found my most impactful learning happened through embodied experience and direct connection with the plants. Some of my deepest transformation has come through emotional and spiritual healing with them.
Herbalism without connection to the spirit of the plants and the animacy of the Earth feels hollow to me. Knowing which herb is good for what condition is one chapter in the book — but knowing the plant spirit is just as important a piece of the story.
Our ancestors lived in embodied connection with the land. Orphaned from that sense of belonging, we’ve become disconnected and unwell. Embodied connection to the living earth and plant medicines is a pathway to weaving ourselves back into belonging.
And so, Embodied Herbalism was born —
an immersive program to feed your mind, heart, and body;
a place to learn about the plants and from them;
a path to rekindling your sense of belonging.
